Our story began in Salt Lake City with a little persistence from Nic and
a first date at Wasatch Brew Pub. We talked for hours, had the best
time, and ended the night with… a side hug. Not quite the ending Nic was
hoping for, but thankfully, he stuck around.
We’ve been together
ever since. We spent four years living together in Salt Lake City before
trading the mountains for a new adventure in Nashville. Whether we’re
skiing, spending the day at the dirt bike track, golfing, or taking the
boat out, we love finding ways to have fun together. At home, our cat
Allen and dog Whipper keep us company, and we’re getting ready for our
biggest adventure yet: welcoming our baby boy!
In August, Nic
proposed on the beach in Destin, Florida—a pretty big step up from that
first side hug. Now, we’re looking forward to saying “I do,” with our
son there to share the day with us.
When we pictured our wedding,
we wanted a relaxed celebration and a trip our guests would enjoy, too.
Mexico felt like the perfect place for both. We can’t wait to spend a
few days with our favorite people, enjoying the beach, making memories,
and celebrating together!
